data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"648\">Nothing ever goes as planned<\/h2><p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"1003\"> <\/p><p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"1003\">When it comes to business transformation, one thing is certain: <strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"774\">nothing ever goes exactly to plan<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"778\">Executives surveyed recommend adopting an <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"848\">agile<\/strong> approach, capable of staying on course without becoming locked into a rigid plan. The idea is to <strong data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"1000\">constantly adapt methods and adjust plans in the event of unforeseen circumstances<\/strong>. <\/p><p data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1026\">An executive testifies:<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1148\"><p data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1148\">&#8220;Merging two entities is not just about aligning processes. If cultures diverge, tensions emerge&#8221;.<\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1241\">This example illustrates how essential it is to anticipate, test, adjust and persevere.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1301\"> <\/h2><h2 data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1301\">The Test &amp; Learn approach to avoid bottlenecks<\/h2><p data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1437\">The <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1329\">Test &amp; Learn<\/strong> approach avoids major bottlenecks by regularly adjusting priorities according to the results obtained.<\/p><p data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1522\">Three imperatives systematically recur in the testimonies of executives:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1962\"><li data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1682\"><p data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1682\"><strong data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1559\">Establish clear indicators<\/strong>, both to monitor progress in real time and to quickly identify internal resistance or misunderstandings.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1816\"><p data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1816\"><strong data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1720\">Be ready to correct quickly<\/strong>: accept that some initial assumptions were wrong and don&#8217;t hesitate to readjust.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1817\" data-end=\"1962\"><p data-start=\"1819\" data-end=\"1962\"><strong data-start=\"1819\" data-end=\"1851\">Maintain an open dialogue<\/strong>: listen to feedback from teams in the field to identify what&#8217;s working and what needs to be reviewed.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2108\"> <\/p><p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2108\">The important thing is not to be afraid of making course corrections. <strong data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2073\">Flexibility is an essential skill<\/strong> for successful transformation.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"2115\" data-end=\"2155\"> <\/h2><h2 data-start=\"2115\" data-end=\"2155\">Anticipate, without going overboard<\/h2><p data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2230\">Anticipation is obviously crucial. But, as one executive reminds us: <\/p><blockquote data-start=\"2231\" data-end=\"2275\"><p data-start=\"2233\" data-end=\"2275\">&#8220;We don&#8217;t know what we don&#8217;t know.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"2277\" data-end=\"2470\">In other words, trying to lock everything down can be counter-productive. Excessive foresight leads to <strong data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2415\">&#8220;analysis paralysis&#8221; syndrome<\/strong>, where everything has to be perfect before you can act. <\/p><ul data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2667\"><li data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2580\"><p data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2580\">If you wait for everything to be perfect, you&#8217;ll never get started&#8230; and you&#8217;ll never change anything.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2581\" data-end=\"2667\"><p data-start=\"2583\" data-end=\"2667\">Conversely, persistence and impulsiveness can lead to avoidable mistakes.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2669\" data-end=\"2776\">The right balance?  <strong data-start=\"2688\" data-end=\"2774\">Intelligent anticipation, combined with a pragmatic, data-driven approach.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2669\" data-end=\"2776\"> <\/p><h2 data-start=\"2783\" data-end=\"2829\">When change brings surprises<\/h2><p data-start=\"2830\" data-end=\"2974\">One executive cites the example of the <strong data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"2880\">Chairman&#8217;s Club<\/strong>, set up to reward the best employees during a business transformation.<\/p><p data-start=\"2976\" data-end=\"3171\">Unexpected success: 82% of employees were invited, creating both a tremendous emulation effect&#8230; but also complex logistics and discomfort for the minority not selected.<\/p><p data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3266\"> <\/p><p data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3266\">This example shows that <strong data-start=\"3199\" data-end=\"3263\">even positive change can generate unexpected challenges<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3266\"> <\/p><h2 data-start=\"3273\" data-end=\"3326\">Striking a balance between rigor and flexibility<\/h2><p data-start=\"3327\" data-end=\"3385\">When it comes to change, it&#8217;s all about balance:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3387\" data-end=\"3555\"><li data-start=\"3387\" data-end=\"3438\"><p data-start=\"3389\" data-end=\"3438\">Avoid excessive rigidity that blocks action.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3439\" data-end=\"3494\"><p data-start=\"3441\" data-end=\"3494\">Prevent relentless or impulsive decisions.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3495\" data-end=\"3555\"><p data-start=\"3497\" data-end=\"3555\">Adopt an agile, flexible and <strong data-start=\"3537\" data-end=\"3552\">data-driven<\/strong> posture.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3557\" data-end=\"3693\"> <\/p><p data-start=\"3557\" data-end=\"3693\">Change requires a <strong data-start=\"3585\" data-end=\"3618\">clear-cut but lucid attitude<\/strong>, always guided by a clear vision and calculated risk-taking.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-16 elementor-top-column elementor-element
